Women's Health Week Events 2024
Jean Hailes Women’s Health Week is Australia’s largest event dedicated to the health and wellbeing of all women, girls and gender-diverse people. In 2024 the week is from 2-6 September 2024. Like I did last year, I will be holding a free event during Women’s Health Week and I would love you to join in!
Perimenopause Happy Hour: Stirring Up Solutions for Anxiety and Alcohol
Perimenopause can be a period of emotional chaos for many women, throw in some alcohol to the mix and the impact on mental health can be significant.
I am joined by two amazing women who will be share their knowledge and experiences on how you can navigate your way through this period:
Mish Wright - An award-winning educator in women's health and a leading authority on Perimenopause. As the founder of MishWright.com, Mish has dedicated her career to empowering women with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate Perimenopause confidently and efficiently. Her work has transformed the lives of countless women through her innovative and compassionate approach.
Nic Avery (me!) - A super Mum of five and the visionary creator of Adapt Drinks, a revolutionary line of alcohol-free adaptogenic beverages. Nic has worked online for over 15 years, helping mums organise family life and achieve their goals. The increasing trend of these women feeling stressed and anxious led her to develop Adapt Drinks, which helps women relax and unwind naturally. With her expertise in personal organisation and goal setting, Nic is a passionate advocate for sustainable, healthy lifestyles that empower women to thrive.
Rebecca Perrone - A former registered nurse turned master grey area drinking coach and founder of Real Transitions. Rebecca brings years of healthcare expertise and experience in helping individuals break free from the cycle of grey-area drinking. Her approach combines professional knowledge with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those looking to change their relationship with alcohol. Rebecca also specialises in nervous system regulation, providing holistic strategies to manage anxiety and improve overall well-being.
This event will empower, educate, and support you through the transformative stage of Perimenopause. Whether you're experiencing it firsthand or want to help someone who is, this session will offer valuable insights and practical strategies.
